About CHAMPSince its founding in 1997, the CHAMP Program has worked to improve New York State’s medical response to child abuse. In addition to educating eligible pediatric practitioners to be CHAMP Providers of child sexual abuse evaluations, CHAMP provides Internet-based education. These courses, webcasts, and web-based resources help medical providers improve the diagnosis, treatment and reporting of child abuse and neglect.
