CHAMP offers New York State’s only standardized training for licensed providers regarding the identification, treatment, and management of suspected child sexual abuse cases. This training includes both coursework and a mentorship. Physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with pediatric experience who are currently practicing in New York State and hold a valid New York State license are eligible to apply for training to become a CHAMP Provider.
