Recruitment Practices

Based in human interaction

  • Face to face

  • Social media

    • Very easy and very cheap to use the internet to place fraudulent job offers and to create fraudulent websites to deceive those looking for work into believing that they are responding to a genuine job offer.

  • Word of mouth via friends/relatives

    • This form of recruitment still appears to prevail in rural areas or among particular communities.
